BARRYNE & SKY - BEATERNITY WORKSHOP 2022

Just thought I’d share this as my first blog post here on the website. Recently, I got to get some class coverage for these two, Skylenn and Barryne. Our home dance studio, Hypersquad For Life is where I got to meet these individuals and I’m glad I got to witness their growth within dance. Sky and Barryne have been like my little sisters. I’ve seen Skylenn grow since 2010 and Barryne since 2016. The dance community in Hawaii is something I hold close to my heart. Even though I am not active, take any classes, it is this community that I like to serve to because this is where my creative journey started. It’s where I got to meet and be inspired by certain people. It’s the leaders in this community that made me believe that you can really push yourself and achieve anything if you really set your mind to it and have the work ethic for it.  

Sky and Barryne approached me to capture the groups executing their piece, but I always feel like getting more than that and make this class vid a bit more memorable. Especially with filming weddings lately, I’ve really understood and cherished being able to capture pure raw moments for people. While not all these moments captured are not in this video, it is something I deliver to people so that they can really look back at it appreciate these tiny moments - it's the little things we like to look back on.

Anyway, I’m glad to see these two girls have a good outcome for their class.  I believe these two to be great leaders within the current generation of the Hawaii dance community. Pure talent, no fancy lighting just to get class video footage, just vibes and enjoying the energy to what these two had to offer this night. I’m proud of you both and I hope you guys continue to create together. Awesome team right here!
